Show MARGARET BRADY Margaret Brady Retires from Phone Company Margaret Brady recently retired from Continental Telephone Tele-phone of the West. Margaret has worked for the Company 14 years as an Operator in the Traffic Dept. Most of this time she has worked the midnight shift. Many times she has helped out in an emergency and has always kept her cool. Her friendliness and cheerfulness are to be commended. The Company hosted a smorgasbord luncheon in her honor and many of her fellow, employees, both past and present, gathered to wish her Happy Retirement. The tables were beautifully decorated with yellow mums and the tasty food was prepared by Miller's. Although Margaret is very camera shy herself, she was heard to mention that she would like one of the new Polaroid Cameras, so on behalf of the fellow employees, employ-ees, Claudia Draper, Chief Operator presented Margaret with a camera and album and said, "Margaret is to be commended for the service she has given both the Company and the Community. Never once has there been a complaint on her ability to handle any situation. She is always cheerful, good natured and extremely dependable and an inspiration to all who have had the pleasure of working with her. She has always been a real asset to the Company." Margaret and her husband Ted, also retired, are spending time doing all the fun and interesting things they have not had the time to do in the past and we are all gald they have decided to retire right here in Moab. |
