Dr. Kazan, Ka-zan, a World War n military mili-tary pilot, started his medical medi-cal practice about 12 years ago and regularly flew between be-tween Page, Escalante, and Pangultch where he operated operat-ed clinics. He resides In Escalante after making his home at Page for several years. Mrs. Box Is the former Shelby Shel-by Mays, daughter of Mrs. Evelyn (Tlss) Ekker Mays, and granddaughter of Arthur Ar-thur Ekker. The new arrival has been named April Lynn. Lynette Morrellr daughter daught-er of Mr. and Mrs. George Morrell, and Dale Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson were united In marriage mar-riage Friday evening at the home of the bride with the . groom's father performing the ceremony. Robin Taylor was bestman and maid of honor was the bride's sister, sis-ter, Jerldene Morrell. Bridesmaids were Jodl and , Beth Morrell, Vlcki and Col- leen Johnson. Guests at the wedding from Hanksvllle were Mr. and Mrs. Glen P. A reception followed fol-lowed at the Loa Cultural Hall. The couple will make their home In Hanksvllle where Dale Is employed with Ray Lyman. Rita Ekker received word that her step sister, Christine Chris-tine Franklin Monroe and husband Rod, have adopted a Thlaland boy, seven month old Jason Todd. The Monroe's Mon-roe's are stationed In that country with the Air Force. Christine Is the granddaughter granddaugh-ter of Mrs. Edith Gardner of Green River. Mrs. Edith Gardner visited visit-ed the Larry Ekkers over the holiday weekend and Joined the Horace Ekkers, Dean and Larry Ekkers for a picnic at Woodruffs. Mr. and Mrs. Don Ekker and children, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ekker and sons visited the Rlter Ekkers over the weekend from their homes In Salt Lake City and Green River. |
