Show lorks of Aloob Artist Featured in Salt Lake The Salt Lake Art Center announces an exhibition of watercolor by Arleen Rug-gerl Rug-gerl of Moab to be held at the Salt Lake Art Center from April 8 to May 4. Arleen Ruggeri Is a native na-tive Utahn and currently lives liv-es In Moab where she Is the Director and Owner of the Jailhouse Gallery on North Main. Her paintings have been Included in several area ar-ea exhibitions including the Utah Biennial of Painting and Sculpture, the Utah State Fair, Watercolor West, and In Colorado, the Colorado Center for the Arts, Grand Junction. Her awards include in-clude first place In water-color water-color at the Utah State Fair, the Sweepstakes Award In the Ouray National Exhibition Exhibi-tion and a merit award at the Dinosaurland Art Festival Fes-tival in Vernal. Mrs. Ruggeri, who received receiv-ed her BA degree in art and music from the University Univer-sity of Utah, has studied privately with Emil Blstram of Taos, New Mexico, and at the University of Mexico and Utah State University. Of her own work, Mrs. Ruggeri says "Painting to me Is a visual response to a personal, emotional, or intellectual experience.
