Show District Court Session Held in Mnnh Monday Seventh Judicial District Court was in session Monday Mon-day with Judge Edward Sheya in Moab to preside over cases brought before the court. On the criminal calendar calend-ar in the case of the State versus Roy Jerold Rockwell, Rock-well, the defendant was charged with willful failure fail-ure to provide for his minor min-or children, which is punishable pun-ishable by imprisonment in the State prison for not more than 5 years. Judge Sheya ordered May 18 at 10:00 a.m. set for trial before be-fore a jury. The court also forfeited the bail of E.D. Knapp, who was convicted several sever-al months ago of the crime of grand larceny. Knapp was released on $1,500 bail but did not appear on the. date set for sentencing. Judge Sheya caused the County Attorney Harry Snow to enlist the services of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in an effort to return the defendant to this county for sentencing. Judge Sheya reported, however, how-ever, that thus far, the FBI has been unsuccessful unsuccess-ful in locating the defendant. defend-ant. This resulted in the bail forfeiture order Monday. Mon-day.
