Show Junior Colleges to Run on Moab Track on Thursday, April 29th Scoring a first in Utah, Moab will host four junior jun-ior colleges April 29th, in a regularly scheduled NJ-CAA NJ-CAA track meet. Moab track coach, Del Ford, said that arrange- ments had been made at the request of coach Bill Barrus of College of Eastern Eas-tern Utah for CEU to held their league meet on tha Moab track facilities. In addition to CEU, Me sa College of Grand Junction, Junc-tion, Snow College of Eph-raim Eph-raim and Dixie College nf St. George will compete. No other Utah high school has ever played host to the colleges and the CEU mentor says lie's pleaned with the opportunity to hold the meet here. A host of former southeastern south-eastern Utah stars will be competing, the bulk of them from Moab and Blanding. The meet will start at 3:00 p.m., and if necessary will continue under the lights. |
