Show Alpine Loop Tour Affracfs Many During Late Summer .. This loop through spectacular spectacu-lar alpine scenery is one of Utah's most popular scenic drives. The highpoint of the trip is the stop at Timpan-ogas Timpan-ogas Cave National Monument Monu-ment to see the strange and beautiful formations. The cave is open May 1-Oct. 1-Oct. 31, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with guided tours. But start at Provo, Utah's third largest city, and see Brigham Young University, the center for civic, cultural and athletic events, in central Utah. Up U.S. 189 is Bridal Veil Falls, a double cataract seen from the roadway or the 1,700 foot aerial tramway to the restaurant on top. Sundance Ski Resort, one of Utah's finest, fin-est, is on the route to Aspen Grove, a summer recreation area maintained by BYU with swimming, fishing and hiking. Mount Timpanogas, 11,750, with a glacier near the top, is the most prominent landmark land-mark in Utah County.
