'-7 1L Mr. and Mrs. Ray VValden i ' Ray Walden, ' Charlotte 'Belford Married in Recent Rites Ceremonies at the First Assembly of God Church on July 28, united Ray Walden and Charlotte Belford in mar-riage. mar-riage. The wedding was performed per-formed by Rev. Linden Curtis. Cur-tis. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Belford Bel-ford and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Norton. The bride was attired In a floor length gown of white bridal satin and organza featuring fea-turing an empire waist, Juliet Jul-iet sleeves and a detachable train. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink rosebuds. In attendance as maid of honor was Teresa Craig4 a niece of the bride from Texas. Tex-as. Bridesmaid was Sandra Norton and flower girl was Lisa Phillips. The maid of honor and bridesmaid carried bouquets of white carnations and Miss Phillips carried a basket of pink mums and baby breath. Serving the groom as best man was Doug Snyder and Alan Norton performed duties du-ties as usher. Ring bearer was David Craig. Organist for the wedding was Mary Beth Ross and Vernon Erb was soloist. A reception honoring tht couple was held imini'dately following the wedding in the reception hall of the church. In charge of the guest book was Cathy Salchenburgcr. Shirley Velasquez, Charlotte Char-lotte Purcell and Glenna Ferguson Fer-guson served refreshments of pink lemonade, cake, nuts and mints while Lois Craig presided pre-sided over the gift table. Serving tables were decorated decor-ated with pink, white, and green paper carnations with accents of hearts and flowers. flow-ers. Center of attention was the bride's three tier wedding cake decorated with doves and pink rosebuds. After a honeymoon to Sil-verton Sil-verton and Ouray, Colo., the couple returned to Moab to make their home. Mr. Walden Wal-den is employed as assistant manager of Miller's Food-town Food-town . |
