Show VISIT RELATIVES ' Mr. and Mrs. Tom Phillips spent a day or two with Una and Bob Gillies, Dixie's aunt and uncle. They took Bob back to Twin Falls with them for some medical treatments. Thank you for the flowers, notes, cards, and friendly visits to T. Ross after his car accident about a month ago. He is doing fine, and will be able to return to work soon. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ross His wife, Flossy, still lives in I California, and remember, B her few years on the riaj with a great fondness. t Downards owned it for ( while, then Jeanette WUC01 had it, and she and IV. C traded it to Therald JeoJ for a piece of ground on the mountain. Jensen owns H now, and has leased it to AC ' Ekker. who plans to develop ft " for a hunting lodge, plants 1 birds on the considerable homestead where the delight ful little stream of Rock Creek flows down out of the moun f tains and into the Green "'' River. There is a terrible tr&fl s up from the mouth of Price '' River, which crosses Ran Creek, or one can come in ' from upriver by boat, or fly v as Jim Hurst developed a ' small, dirt landing strip. ' Last winter Nik Hougen, " hunting for some place to ' paint and write, settled on the 1 property and has raised a good garden, has some chick- " ens, a milk goat, and two ; calves which were taken in by plane, as well as two horses ' which Nik rode in. The old :i orchard survives, and Nik has ' dried considerable fruit from ' the trees. He is well establish- ' ed in this secluded spot, and : plans to produce paintings, poetry, and sketches, as he finds a ready market for his work. |
