Show Rotary President resigns from post Due to the pressure of business R.S. "Rudy" Higgins resigned as President of the Rotary Club Monday. He was succeeded by vice-president, Randy Spencer. Following the death of Robert Rob-ert Rose, the appointment of R.W. "Dick" Unger was made to fill the Secretary's office. At the regular meeting, Oct. 17, 1977 the District Governor, Marion "Duff Hanks gave an inspiring talk on the theme of "Service", related re-lated to the good of humanity. Mr. Hanks was one of the first men in Salt Lake City to announce televised sports. Fourteen Rotary Annes were guests at the meeting. |
