Show Groneman Officially Gets Bid on Cify Building Groneman Construction Co. of Orem, Utah was officially tiwarded the bid for construction con-struction of a new visitor center cen-ter park by Moab City Council Coun-cil members at their meeting Tuesday night. Bid on the project was $19,951. ; The new facility will be open in July, according to Mayor Winford Bunce, and will be paid for by the Grand County Travel Council. The building will house two offices, of-fices, a conference room for projectors and displays, and a storage room. The frame building will be constructed with a Spanish decor and will contain 1,440 square feet of floor- space. In addition to the' building, the grounds will be landscaped, (curb and gutters installed, and driveways constructed. In oilier business before the Council, purchase of five Icalculators was authorized. Three Olivettis will be purchased pur-chased from Plateau Typewriter Type-writer Exchange and two Victors will be bought from Untermounlain Printing of iGrand Junction. Cost was labout $300 each, after trade-in trade-in of present equipment. An agreement was made to allow preliminary engineering engin-eering work for sewer lines to be laid from near the Miller's Shopping Center east of town to about 7th East, in the vicinity of Moab Lanes. O.st of the engineering will fee $300. |
