Show Fair Crowd Attends Town Hall Meeting The Moab Woman's Literary Liter-ary Club sponsored an old fashioned town meeting Saturday, Sat-urday, Oct. 25, in the Council Coun-cil Room of tlie courthouse, with about 40 concerned citizens ci-tizens attending. The most concern expressed express-ed in questions by those present was in connectioi with the law enforcement problems in the City. The candidates discussed these problems heatedly and at considerable length. Another topic that brought with it some heated debate was the fluoridation issue, many questions were asked concernnig the effects of fluoride on such things as mental retardation and arthritis. ar-thritis. Both those opposing and those for the issue had an opporunity to answer the questions. In the case of the proponents, people were told that if they had any doubts as to the effects of fluoride, they should ask their dec-tors. dec-tors. The opponents, on the othr hand cited Dr. Kezar-ian, Kezar-ian, who spoke in Moab recently, re-cently, as a source as well as other literature that they had on hand. In all, the meeting was described as successful by those who sponsored the discussion. dis-cussion.
