Show Landowners Can Extend Bird Hunts in Utah Under a special provision of the 1969 Upland Game Hunting Proclamation, landowners land-owners are permitted to post their lands open to 'hunting pheasants as an extension ex-tension of the regular season. sea-son. Th'e designated regular season may be extended up to a full 30 days. No landowner land-owner will be permitted to post his land open to pheasant pheas-ant hunting beyond November Novem-ber 30, 1969. Persons desiring to extend the regular season on their property may do so with appropriate signs containing the words "open to pheasant hunting by permission" or "open to pheasant hunting." Signs must be placed no farther apart than 600 feet along the boundry 'and on all corners, lanes and gates on th'e property being extended. The signs are available free of charge from any Fish and Game Division office or from local conservation officers. |
