Show Bike Counter Destroyed by Area Vandals A traffic counter instrument instru-ment on the Moab Slickrock Bike Trail was destroyed sometime during the month of October. Dick Burch of the Moab office of the Bureau Bur-eau of Land Management stated that this was the third act of vandalism to the facilities fac-ilities of the trail since it was opened in July. The counter, valued at around ar-ound 5" dollars was shot repeatedly re-peatedly by a 22 caliber gun, probably a jistol. Sheriff W. H. Bowman is investigating the incident.
