Corbin Joined in Marriage Here Saturday Cindy Jane Jackson, daughter dau-ghter of Mrs. Joan Miller and Mr. James Jackson, and John Ray Corbin, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Wallace Corbin were united in marriage Saturday, Sa-turday, Nov. 1, at the Community Com-munity Baptist Church' with Rev. Emil M. Balla officiating. officiat-ing. Attending the bride as matron ma-tron of honor was Mrs. Lee Oviatt. As bridesmaids , were Jimmi Lynn ' Jackson and Rhonda Corbin, with junior bridesmaids Jody Jackson and Leslie Corbin. As best man was the brother bro-ther of the groom, James Mike Corbin. Ushers for the ceremony were. Dennis Spear, Dana McFarland and Mc Oviatt. Acting as candle-lighter's candle-lighter's were John and Bill Jackson. The bride wore a gown of white peui de soi with- three -lace panels on the skirt. Her train was of chapel length lace trimmed with pearls and crystal beads. Her fin-gertip fin-gertip veil . was caught in a seed pearl tiara. Miss Jackson Jack-son carried a bouquet , of yellow and white glamelias with satin streamers. . Wearing ' street length gowns of moss green satin with yellow trim were ' the bridesmaids who carried yel-, low glamelias. The younger bridesmaids wore the same style of gown as the older girls butt in yellow and they wore wristlets of white carnations car-nations with yellow streamers. The matron of honor wore a floor length gown of moss green with a bouquet similar to that of the bride. Her flowers were yellow with green streamers. The chapel was decorated with tall candleabra flanking flank-ing the altar. Bronze mums also adorned the altar with an open Bible and a bud vase. The hall was decorated with fall flowers of yellow, white and gold. Small flower flow-er baskets with miniature mum's in the bride's colors also added to the decorations. decora-tions. Marj Donoghue played the wedding march while Leslie Bingham sang, "Till the End of Time," and "Love is a Many Splendored Thing." A reception followed in the fellowship Hall of the church with a cake of green and yellow flanked . by crystal . candleabra as the center of attraction. The cake was decorated de-corated by. the mother of the bride. Greeting guests were the. mothers of the bride and groom who both wore corsages cor-sages of white glamelias. ' The mother, of the bride wore a black and beige knit dress with black accessories, accessor-ies, while the mother of ttw groom wore a gold double-knit double-knit dress with black accessories. ac-cessories. Attending the guest book was Pam Whitney with Debbie Deb-bie Zom and Jeannie Johnson John-son in charge of gifts. Refreshments Re-freshments were served and prepared by Mrs. Ida Phillips, Phil-lips, Jody Hayes, Lynn Daye, Ann Swails, Diane Nielson and Ann Carter. Out of town guests for the event were: Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. George Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Nancy Oahoon, all of Monticelo; from Blanding were Mr. and Mrs. James Hard; from Snowflake, Arizona Ari-zona was the groom's grand-mlother, grand-mlother, Mrs. Lawrence Spear and the groom's uncle, un-cle, Dennis Spear. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nielson of Green River also attended. The newlyweds are honeymooning honey-mooning in Arizona, touring the state, and when they return re-turn will make their home in Moab. |
