No definite dates have been set as yet for par-'ent-teacher . conferences but it is thought that they will be held soon. . HALLOWEEN DANCE A Halloween dance, hosted by the Sophomore class, was held last Friday from 8:01) until 11:30 p.m. Midnight Reflections, Re-flections, a local band provided pro-vided the music. SADIE HAWKINS November 14 has been selected se-lected as the date for the Sadie Hawkins dance. PICTURE SESSION The last picture taking session for this year's yearbook year-book took place Sunday. Representatives Rep-resentatives from Curtis Photography were in Moab once again1 for this outing. The Mograndah wiE be released re-leased early in May. VESUVIUS CLUB The GCHS Vesuvius Club held its first business meeting meet-ing last Thursday. At this time, officers for the 1969-70 1969-70 school year were -elected. Flans were made for their first organizational meeting next week and a tea honoring honor-ing their mothers will be held. ASSEMBLY PRESENTED This year's first National Schools Assembly was presented pre-sented last week. Mr. and Mrs. Southerland presented a fine musical program, especially es-pecially in view of the fact that Mrs. Southerland has been totally blind since early ear-ly childhood. |
