Lake level will then remain near the highest elevation throughout the summer. Runoff forecast for the Gunnison Gun-nison River watershed above the Curecanti Unit is 590,000 acre-feet. The reservoir res-ervoir is now 87 feet below the top of the raised spillway gates at Hoover Dam. The lake will rise about 1 foot in May, and another foot in June, reaching elevation 1,136 feet above m.s.l. It will remain re-main at this elevation thru August.
