Ooldileld maintains the lead as the greatest gold producing section in the world. The Consolidated Mines com paay is producing more ore this year than at any time in ita history. A . large virgin territory is being opened np ia that camp by this company, in addition to -which several eemp ea have reached the atage of profitable production. Recent explorations in the Goidflaid region have proven the exist-eoee exist-eoee of big commercial era deposits in properties that have been heretofore considered worthless. Not only have the ore deposits hare proven np over a wider area, but the greater depths attained at-tained show some of the highest grade deposits ever found in the west. - Nevada Consolidated ia masingiie best record for the Ely producers. During Dur-ing this month the output will reach an average of 10,000 tons dally, and the company is operating on an ore that averages from .80 to 1 per eent copper. The successful treatment of this low grade ore haa been made possible bv various improvements in the methods , of treatment. The Janney elaasifler and roughing tables constitute a large part of the improvement made In the concentrating con-centrating plant at Bteptoe. Other operations are being conducted in the Ely camp, and the next big producer scheduled to com la it the Girous mines. Gold rArcl Camp.
