Tha Wilaoa law provides that any panoa or corporations who import eommoditiee to the United btate and combine to reatraia trade or fix prieea, although the trade agreement are made ouUide of this country, may be fined or impriaoned and the import mav he confiscated by the government. Decision of the courts regarding the applicability of the Sherman law to combination conceived outside the United States probably will force the government to fall back on the Wilson act ia the particular cases and "others which are eimilar.. The anti-trust section of the Wilson Wil-son law were preserved in the framing f the Dinglry act of 1897 sod were not repealed by th Payne Aldrich law of 1909. |
