Show FUN WAY UP IN CANADA. . "Our Lady of the Snows" has her own fun. A correspondent of the Ottawa Citizen tells how. A Settsville firm offered prizes for the biggest loads of girls that could be brought to its store before Saturday Satur-day night. One man brought in thirty-one, another forty-eight, but a young farmer living ten miles out with a specially constructed sleigh drawn by four great horses, hitched tandem, unloaded, seventy -one ladies at the store and took first prize. The advantage up there is that at this time of year ladies can sit closer together than would be comfortable in Southern latitudes and in that climate, cli-mate, too, to haul sevenly-one ladies is a pleasure to the horses, 1 v |
