The patience of Leisbman, the American Embassador to ' Turkey, is exhsusted, according to a Constantinople dispatch, by ths Porte's non-fulfillment of its repeated promises I regarding the rights and privileges of American missionary establishments in Turkey. He has mads it known, it is stated, that he can no longer tolerate the way in which the American schools and hospitals are being obstructed. Certain Cer-tain members of the Yildiz camarilla, Leishman is convinced, are responsible for the difficulties met, and he is mora determined to take a strong stand. |
