Show "IN WRECK, BUT All SAFE," WIRES TYREE Hiram Tyree, who was among the injured in-jured in the Pennsylvania wreck, is a well-known business man of this city. His home is at 44 J street. Mrs. Tyree Ty-ree received the following telegram from her husband early this morning: "In wreck, but am safe." Mrs. Tyree tried at once, to renew communication with her husband, in the hope of learning the extent of his injuries, but. at noon had been unable to reach him. She wired her son, who is in Chicago, to make a similar effort, ef-fort, and, if necessary, to join. his father. 'y, -T Tyree is manager of the Greenwater-Salt Greenwater-Salt Lake Copper Mining company,, the Reliance Mining and Milling company, and the Humboldt Consolidated Manufacturing Manu-facturing company. It was in the interests in-terests of these concerns that he went East a month ago tomorrow. At the time or the wreck Tyree was on the way from New York to Chicago. He was expected home in a few days. |
