Show KUCHLER AND JENSEN IN ROW Ogden Man Retracts to Ex-tent Ex-tent of Stating That Jensen Jen-sen Did Not Receive Fee, bat Represented Certain Persons. On the floor of the House of Representatives Repre-sentatives yesterday afternoon Representative Repre-sentative Nephl Jensen attempted to secure a retraction of the remarks made by Representative Rudolph Kuchler of Weber county the day before, which were to the effect that Jensen was not representing a constituency, but a client. As soon as the session convened con-vened yesterday afternoon Jensen secured se-cured the floor on a point of personal privilege and asked for a retraction by Kuchler. Kuchler replied with a reiteration of the charge. When Jensen again arose for a demand for a retraction he was stopped by Representative Robinson raising a point of order that no person shoula be held responsible for anything said on the floor of the House. Kuchler declared he was willing to reply. He did so by declaring that he did not mean to infer that Jensen received a fee for his work, but that he represented repre-sented a few instead of a constituency. In the short session of the House yesterday yes-terday the members climbed onto two bills and buried them. They were II. B. No. 5 and II. B. No. 2. Measure Is Killed. When H. B. No. 12, which was for the purpose of making it unlawful for any corporation to make a person give bond with an outside company as security, se-curity, it was noticed that Representative Representa-tive f'legg, chairman of the Judiciury committee which passed on the bill and was also the introducer of the same, was not present. As a matter of courtesy the bill was passed and Mr. 'legg was snt for. The messenger was charged with this duty. It required but a few minutes after his return for the bill to tfo down to defeat. On the motion of Representative Representa-tive ritrhlow the enacting elause was ftrieken out and the measure died. In the debate that followed the Speaker left the chair to take part. Permission whs granted yesterday for the withdrawal of H. B.' No. 71' and No. P. H. H No. 44. was made a special order of business today. New Bills In House.
