A CHARMING affair was the bridge tea at which Miss Jenna-Budd Geddes was hostess yesterday afternoon. Mlsa Sarah Ralston and Miss Leslie Kerr were guests of honor. Four tables were filled with bridge players and at the conclusion of the game luncheon was served from a violet decorated table. Miss Addle Zane presided at the tea urn. Wilson In honor of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Thomas whose wedding wed-ding took plaee yesterday at the Temple, was a social event of Intereat. The Wilson Wil-son home wae prettily decorated with pink and white carnations, the newly married couple receiving In a bower of ferna and amllax studded with carnations. In the dining-room were festoons of red wedding bells and hearts with red carnatlona scattered scat-tered over the dining table. The bride, who was Miss Effle Wilson, wore her wedding wed-ding gown of cream silk mull and was attended by her sister. Miss Ruth Wilson, who wore lavender organdie and carried violets. Mrs. Wilson was assisted In entertaining en-tertaining by Mrs. Melissa Sears. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Smith and Jack Home. Assisting As-sisting in the dining-room were Miss Iyouise Hsgerman. A. last evening, the occasion being the unique note-a-phone concert riven by Mrs. Kate Brldwell Anderson. Karl Rle-delsberger. Rle-delsberger. violinist, who aaslsted. received a generous applause. A charming feature fea-ture of the evening was a selection played upon the musical blocks by a quartette of little girls. Mrs, Judith Evans, piano accompanist, did excellent work. Hugh Dougall. who also assisted, rendered selections selec-tions of Gounod's "Faust." Three society "buds" acted as ushers. They were Miss Lullta Ixjwe. Miss Haael Bowman and Pauline Browning. The seventh Item on the pro gram waa William Wood (In the profession Harry Delrnar), who gave some extremely clever Impersonations from "If 1 Were King." On being recalled, re-called, he gave a comic sketch. 'The Dry Goods Clerk." He was certainly one of the hits of tbe evening and displayed unusual un-usual dramatic talent.
