Show SUBMIT COLLEGE WAR TO PEOPLE SpeaKer Joseph Has Prepared Pre-pared a Bill Which He Believes Is a Solution of the Trouble. Speaker Harry S. Joseph of the House has a new solution for the question ques-tion of the Agricultural college and I'niverMtv consolidation. The method l.y ihich Mr. Joseph declares that he will solve the question is that two constitutional con-stitutional amendments be left to the voto of the people and the further provision pro-vision for a hill to carry out his idea. The proposed amendments to be voted ' on are as follows: j "Shall the University of Utah and the Agricultural college be consolidated I at Salt Lake City?" I "Shall the State Industrial school be removed from Ogden to Logan?" These two amendments can be voted i upon at the November election. I At the same tirap Mr. Joseph intends 1 introducing a bill which call for a com- j mission of nine members, including the ( llovornor. to make further investijja tion into the consolidation question and i as to its economic conditions. In regard to Lis plan Speaker Joseph say: "The commission which -1 propose will look into the matter from a purely business standpoint a':d make recommendations recom-mendations to the Legislature, however the people mav ote on fh question of couolidation. It' it U decided that the intsitutions shall remain as thev are. the recommendations of this commission will be valuable as to the financial man aemenf of the two school", the reduction reduc-tion of expenses and the raising of the neressarv revenue.
