Show BILLS INTRODUCED IN HOUSE TODAY Representative Harry Robinson of Binffham this afternoon introduced into the House a bill making it unlawful to use the name, title, insignia, ritual or ceremonies of any order of ten years' standing in the State by any one not a member of such order", mentioning in the measure the G. A. R., Loyal Legion, Spanish War Veterans, Utah Volunteers, Volun-teers, Elks and the Knights of Pvthias. and declaring violations of the law a misdemeanor. Providing for a State school tax of .1 mills on the dollar, a bill was introduced intro-duced by Representative Tolton; Kuchler of Weber county introduced a measure appropriating $7500 for the .State exhibit at the next convention of the National Irrigation congress, at Sacramento, this fall; Representative Cottam wanted $5500 appropriated for building a bridge over the Rio Virgin river in Washington eonnty, on the main road to St. George. A bill was introduced providing for the entabliahment of a State Board of Park Commissioners, Nj be composed f three members under bond, who shall have authority to contract debts for the maintenance and construction of parkways, park-ways, drivewavs and boulevards in cities of over 15,000 inhabitants in the State of Utah, members to be elected for six years. |
