Show OFFICERS NAMED BY STOCK MEET Dr. Jean C. Flint of Salt Lake City was elected president of the Intermountain Livestock Sanitary association Wednesday afternoon at the concluding session of the three-day annual conference in the Newhouse hotel. He succeeds Dr. Hadleigh Marsh of Boxeman, Mont. Other officers elected were Dr. A. K. Kuttler, Boise, Idsho, first vice president; Dr. E. T. Powell, Boise, second vice president; Dr. A. C Johnston, Cedar City, third vice president, and Dr. D. E. Mad-sen Mad-sen of Logan, reelected secretary-treasurer. secretary-treasurer. Installation ceremonies followed the election. . Principal speakers were Dr. W. A. Altken of Merrill, Iowa, who reported on modern methods of handling equine digestive disturbances, disturb-ances, and Dr. Aahe Lorkhart, Kansas City, and Dr. R. A. Given, Reno, Nev., who discussed Bangs disease control, along with Dr. C. L. Jones of Salt Lake City. The ladies' auxiliary closed Its annual meeting, a business session, at which Mrs.-C. L. Kones, Salt Lake City, president, and Mrs. E. G. Cole, Salt Lake City, spoke. , |
