Show JUSTICE COURT COLLECTS $542 HOLLADAY Justice of the Peace A. Gideon Omer of Holladay, who did not have a single case In the first three months of 1939, concluded con-cluded the year with 205 cases on his docket, from which $542 was collected In fines and forfeitures, he reported Wednesday. Of these, 43 were moving traffic violations, including drunken driving, driv-ing, 3; reckless driving, 1; speeding, speed-ing, 24; running traffic lights, 6; ignoring stop signs, 7. A large percentage of the other cases were violstions of the law requiring state certificates of Inspection on automobiles. The average fines on moving traffic violations, not Including parts of original sentences that were suspended, follow: Drunken driving, $45: reckless driving, $10; speeding, $7.40: running traffic lights, $3.58, and Ignoring stop signs, $3.71. |
