BAKER, ' TELEGRAM SPORTS EDITOR. t -n Elden Auker, the pitcher traded to the Boston Red Sox by 'the Tigers, lays he developed his underhand delivery out of necessity following a football injury. What's more, he claims that it was a great break for him, declaring that he believe he throws with less arm strain than most pitchers in the big lagues.
