Miss Varley Wedded To Scott A. Smith For the wedding of Miss Charlotte Marie Varley and Scott A. Smith I on Wednesday evening potted palms and huge baskets of pure white j flowers were placed in semicircular I arrangement around the fireplace at the home of the Thomas Varleys, I 607 Eleventh East street. On each i side were white tapers in crystal candelabra, forming an attractive background for the wedding party. Officiating at tha ceremony was Levi Edgar Young, with only close frlenda and members of the families fam-ilies in attendance at the service. Later there was a reception for their host of friends. The bride, who had no attendants, attend-ants, wore plain white taffeta made in bouffant style, and her finger tip veil of tulle was caught to her head with a fragrant cluster of gardenias and orange blossom sprays. She i wore a corsage of gardenias. The mother of the bride, Mrs. Thomas Varley, wore velvet In a French blue shade and Mrs. Moroni ' A. Smith, mother of the bridegroom, i was lovely in wine colored lace. Both wore gardenia corsages. I For traveling to Los Angeles and San Francisco for their honeymoon trip the bride wore a suit in chic style of brown tweed with matching accessories. The bridegroom Is the son of Mr. and Mra. Moroni A. Smith, 1205 East Third South street.
