Show MRS. MARY LEVY SERVICES HELD Graveiida funeral services for Mrs. Mary Levy, 88, former reaidenl of Salt Lake City and grandmother of Paulette Gocklard, stage and screen actress, were conducted Friday Fri-day at 11 a. m. at the B'nai Israel cemetery hers by Rabbi Samuel H. Gordon. Mrs. Levy died in San Francisco early this week after a lingering Illness. The body was brought here by J. R. Levy, New York City, her son and father of Miss Goddard. Mrs. Levy was the widow of Samuel Levy, both pioneer Jewish ""residents of Sail 'Lak City, tisvlug come hers in 1865. A few yesrs sft-sr sft-sr the death of Mr. Levy In 1905, Mrs. Levy moved to ths California city. Born February 14, 1M1. at New Orleans, La., she wss ths daughter f Joseph and Regins Werling. Survivors besides Mr. Levy include in-clude three other sons, Maurice, Harold and Reginald Levy, all of San Franlcsco. A daughter, Lottie, died only nine months ago. |
