Home Life Drama PresentedfarTJem A story of three generations of a typical American family, forced to live under one roof, is presented In "Make Way for Tomorrow," which opened Friday at the Gem theater. The squabbles, bickerings, comedy com-edy and problems which may be expected to arise from such an arrangement ar-rangement are present in full measure, meas-ure, making the picture one of ths "homiest" and moat human stories of the year. The youngest generation Is ably represented by Barbara Read. She has all the problems of a modern teen age girl, but Is unabls to confide con-fide in her mother. Fay Bainter, because tha latter is too busy with her bridge. Beulah Bondl, ths grandmother, is likewise too far removed from Barbara's sphere to help her. Victor Vic-tor Moors has an outstanding role as a grandfather. |
