Show Telegram-Kiwanis Classes ; For First Aid to Resume Treatment of Burns and Instruction in Artificial Ar-tificial Respiration Planned With the excitement of Covered Wagon Days coming to an end Saturday. Telegram-Kiwanis club first aid classes will resume Monday Mon-day with new vigor. T. W. Dee, first aid supervisor of the Salt lake police department, depart-ment, and Miss Phvllis Wade, nurse in police emergency hospital. are in charge of the course. "W will begin the treatment of burns and artificial respiration Monday," aaid Mr. Dee, "and carry right through until August T. when the course will come to a close." At the end A the course all members mem-bers who havs satisfactorily passed i thi first aid test will receive a Utah-Nevada aafely certificate and a Kiwani club first aid pin. Thia ia the fourth annual course for first aid sponsored by The Tele- gram and the Klwania dub. Classes meet twice a week for two-hour instruction in-struction at four city recreation centers Ensign and Jackson play-, grounds, and Fairmount and Liberty parks. The schedule for next week will be aa follows: Mondays and Thursdays, Thurs-days, 10 a. m.. Jackson playground: 3:30 p. m-. Liberty park; Tueadaya and Friday, 10 a. m, Enaign play- ' ground: Wednesdays and Saturdays, Satur-days, 10 a. m, Fairmount park. |
