Show NARCOTICS SUSPECT ORDERED TO TRIAL Wong Lung. 70, 14v Plum Alley, alleged persistent violator of the narcotics law, waived hearing Friday Fri-day in city court and was held for trial In district court by Judge B. P. Leverich. Hearing for Orvllle Hopkins, M, of 34 South Main street, on a similar simi-lar charge, waa continued without date. Walter M. Critchlow, deputy county coun-ty attorney, reported to the judge that Hopkins had been returned to state prison as a parol violator. Both compialnta war based an ralda made by deputy sheriffs August Au-gust 18 at the Plum alley premises. Hopkins, it is allegsd, had previously pre-viously been convleted on a similar charge in 1B35 and Lung, under the name of Ak Lee, had allegedly paid a 1200 fine on a similar offense in December, 1 936. |
