Show MRS. B. W. PALMER PRESIDES AT TEA A smart autumn tea was presided over on Friday by Mrs. Bas-eom Bas-eom W. Palmer at her home. 1108 East South Temple street, complimenting; com-plimenting; Mrs. Elmer F. Davy, formerly Miss Gladys Scheibe of St. Paul, Minn., a bride of the summer, who has come to Salt Lake City to make her home. The home was attractively decorated dec-orated with early fall flowers and the tea table, which was covered with an heirloom hand crocheted 'Mexican rtoth, was centered with a basket filled with lovely pink and white Amaryllis. Ivory candles In silver candelabra were at each end af the table. Mrs. P. H. Hutchinson, Mrs. W. Harold Dalgleish. Mrs. A. Blake Thomas and Mrs. Kenneth B. Castle-ton Castle-ton presided at the tea and coffee urns and were assisted by Miss Sarah Ann Nelson. Mrs. Hugh W. Davy. Mrs. O. R. Wells and Mrs. B. W. McLelUnd. Receiving with the hostess snd honored guest were Mrs. George W. Dsvy and Mrs. Palmer's house I guest. Mrs. P. A. Harrison of Rochester, Ro-chester, Minn. One hundred and tweny-five gunts called between the hours of 3 and 5 p. m. Dr. and Mrs. Palmer entertained at a dinner party on Thursday evening eve-ning at their home for Dr. and Mrs. P. A. Harrison of Rochester,- who leave Saturday for their home after a visit at the Palmer home. Autumn Au-tumn flowers decorated the table and covers were laid for Dr. and Mrs. Harrison. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer F, Davy and ths host and hostess. |
