Backman Named Mr. Backman was selected as chairman of the group seeking. construction con-struction of the road, and Mr. Gurr, Mr. Mullins and Mr. Coleman were appointed as a committee to meet at Midway Saturday morning and go over the proposed route. This committee also will look Into obtaining ob-taining title to property Involved. Salt Lake City's interest was expressed ex-pressed and cooperation pledged by Mayor Erwin. Mr. Knowlton explained that the state would be unable to Join in the project right now, it being a matter up to the federal bureau of public roads.
