Show Boy Scout Council Changes Monthly Meeting System Change in traditional method of conducting monthly meetings of the commissioners' staff of the Salt Lake council. Boy Scouts of America, waa announced Friday by J. Melvin Harrison, field scout executive.. For the firat time in council history, h explained, meetings will be held next week In individual individ-ual arras instead of tha customary joint commissioners' aeaaion at scout headquarters, 112 8. State. Area meetings, he said, will be supervised by selected commis sioners and members of the council executive staff. Mr. Harrison reported time and place for meetings aa follows: Area one, meeting at East high school LDS seminary, 10 a.m. Sunday: area two. West high seminary, semi-nary, 10 a.m. 8unday; area three, Murray council headquarters, 4966 S. State, 10 a.m. Sunday: area four, Salt Lake council headquarters. 112 8. Btate, 10 a.m. Sunday; area five, Garfield LD8 ward, S p.m. Wednesday; irea six. Granite high seminary, 10 a.m. Sunday; area seven, Wanahip LDS ward. Summit Sum-mit county, 8 p.m. Monday. At each meeting. Mr. Harrison stated, both scoutmasters and explorer ex-plorer committeemen will receive instructions and training In work for the coming year. |
