Walker, vice president of the Walker Bank and Trust company, for an 85 foot frontage on South Main street, the Covey Brothers Amusement Amuse-ment company plan to expend $75,000 in Improving the property, S. M. Covey, president of the company, announced Thursday. It Is the plan of the company to greatly enlarge the Coconut Grove ballroom, 444 South Main street, and construct a new building which will provide Main atreet space tor several sev-eral retail stores, Mr. Covey said. Work on the Improvement program pro-gram will be started within the next week or so and should be completed by May 15. Blair Richardson, manager of the real estate department of J. A. Hogle tc Co., negotiated the option for the purchase of tha Walker property. |
