Show THIRTY-FIVE MEN FOR THE NAVY The United States naval recruiting party finished its work in Salt Lake yesterday and left on an evening train for Ogden, where It will enlist prospec-Uve prospec-Uve Admirals for two weeks. During the time the party has been In this city thirty-five men and boys nave been enlisted and the -officers were well pleased with their success. S. H. Peters, one of the members of the party. Is at St. Mark's hospital, threatened with typhoid fever. On his recovery he will . rejoin the recruiting party. Saturday there were three enlistments, en-listments, James C. Fitzgerald, apphen-tice; apphen-tice; Carl M. Holm, landsman for train-in, train-in, and David H. Hancock, coal passer. |
