Duncan, Joseph Oberndorf er, A. R. Carter, Maxwell R. Brothers and Alvlras E. Snow as ill-rectors. ill-rectors. Later the directors held a meeting and elected Ed W. Duncan-president, Duncan-president, Joseph Oberndorfer vice-president, vice-president, and Alvlras E. Snow secretary secre-tary and treasurer. At the stockholders meeting the secretary sec-retary submitted his report, showing that there had been a total of 569 feet of. drifting done on the main vein, 828 feet on the Antelope vein; that there had been 148 feet of sinking done in the winces of the two veins, and fifty-seven feet ot drifting at the bottom of the Antelope win re, making a. total, with the -upraises, crosscuts, drifts and wlnses, of 1636 feet, at a total cost of $16,037. With the exception of 281 feet In the crosscut, all of this work was In low-grade ore. ' On. the 17th of - this month two feet of ore was opened up In the drift from the 'Antelope winse that promises to be of shipping, quality. There are from two and one-half to three feet of ore at the bottom of the Martha rein that averages from 20 to 40 ounces in stlv-and stlv-and about $2 In gold. The present assessment, with the ore now ready for shipment, will practically practical-ly wipe out the debts of the company. |
