American authority, on Masonic Mason-ic law and lore,- and a member of the Colorado Colo-rado constitutional commission, died at his residence in . this. city, of old age. - Mr. Bromwell was born. at. Baltimore August W, 1823, served two terms in Congress from Illinois in 1865. . He removed to Denver in 1870 and served in the Colorado Territorial State Legislature. He married Henrietta Holmes, a direct descendant of Mayflower stock..- Mrs. Bromwell died -In Denver in January, 1882. aged - Mr: Bromwell was admitted to the bar at Vandalla, IH. in 18i3. and while practicing law published a paper called the -'Age of Steam and Fire.'- For four years he was County Judge and 5, after - removing to .
