After being be-ing in separate conference last night and again this morning at thelr respec-tlve respec-tlve hotels, the joint conference of the committees of the National and American Ameri-can Baseball leagues was resumed at 11 a. m. today. None but the eight conferees were admitted ad-mitted to the conference room again today. to-day. Today it Is thought probable that the conference may continue over Sunday, Sun-day, but that there will be a peace pact adopted. ' Shortly after 1 o'clock the doors of the conference were opened when Chairman Chair-man Herrmann said the conference had agreed upon all the leading matters at Issue, and would proceed now with the details and the construction of articles of agreement and .conclude its work before taking any recess. . - " |
