The-opening sale of 100 shares went at $170, the second hundred at $2.83, the third at $2.90. Then a block of 800 was dropped at $2.95. The last 200 reached the $3 mark, and on the open board 150 shares went at that mark. The call closed with $3 bid-and $3.10 asked. The other feature of the morning call was the great' activity of Wabash, around the 27-cent mark, a drop of 2 cents since yesterday. In all 22.300 shares of the stock changed hands, 3000 of them going at 25 cents. The stock opened at 80 cents and on the second sale dropped to 27 cents and fluctuated around that figure, closing at 27 cents bid. . Lower Mammoth which is usually one of the most active stocks, recorded but one sale of 100, that going at 69 cents. AJax was active at figures between 29 and SO cents, and Carisa released 1600 shares, 600 at 17 cents, 500 at 16 cents, and 500 at 16 cents. Salisbury came down from Park City last night after Inspecting the Daly-Judge., Charles Crlsmon, superintendent of the Utah mine at Fish Springs, writes that be has encountered ore showing 446 ounces silver and 60 per cent lead In the lowest workings of the mine. Judge W. I. Snyder denies that an assessment will be made on California at the Saturday's meeting. Secretary Snyder believes the mine and mill will henceforth maintain themselves. Manager G. K.
