Show TAKEN FROM HOSPITAL Famous "Sleeping Girl" Is Removed to Home of Her Parents. Bessie Knecht, the sleeping girl, who has been a patient at the hospital for the past three months and a half, was removed re-moved to the home of her parents late yesterday afternoon. The physicians in charge of her case have been unable to effect even a partial cure, and it was believed that no good end would be served by leaving her longer in the hospital at the expense of the county. It is believed that a commission will look Into the case In the near future and discuss the advisability of sending the girl to the State mental hospital at Pro-vo Pro-vo for treatment. In sending her to that institution the commission will not declare her Insane, but will only send her where she can have constant medical attention at a lower cost than at the hospital. |
