Mr. Lersen was an aged man, being about 71 years old and weak-minded. weak-minded. .He had no family and ths town had him taken care of by a gentleman of that place. A few eveninss since, while the party with whom Mr. Larsen was staying Stepped out to do some chores, the Invalid went op to the kitchen store. In some manner he fell across the store, or deliberately laid poa It. and when found lying to the side of the store he eras horribly burned from his head ,to his abdomen. The wonder la that his ckths did rot catch Are and born him more severely. He lingered In. acony for sareral days, but, fortunately, he could not realise his suffering.
