A decision de-cision Involving many unique features has Just been handed down by the United States Supreme court. The case Involves the copyright ownership of "The Autocrat of the Breakfast Table." by the la tie Oliver Wendell Holmes, and Harriet Beecher Stowe'a "The Minister's Minis-ter's Wooing." - ' The suit was brought by Hou"ghton, Mifflin & Co. against other publishers who have been publishing the works. The decision is against the complainants, complain-ants, and relates that there is no copyright copy-right on the two well-known books mentioned, men-tioned, as both were published serially before being copyrighted. Under the decision any one can publish pub-lish the books without liability of prosecution. prose-cution.
