Show BOUTS TO BE GIVEN BY PASTIME CLUB The first entertainment of the Pastime Athletic club will be given at th club rooms at E7 Market street this evening, and the programme which has been arranged' ar-ranged' is a fine one. Never before have the boxing patron of this city had a chance to see the fast amateur compete and they will ee more clever boxing this evening in th four bouts arranged than they would see In a professional fight of twenty rounds. The main event of the evening will be a bout between Big Bert Fuller and Jack Barry. Fuller la by far the heavier of the men, weighing in the neighborhood of 230 pounds, while Barry tlpa the scale at 175, but the men are very evenly matched and the bout will be a hot one. The match between Billy Arnold and Tommy Burn at 128 pounds will also be a fast and furious one, as the little fellows are both faat The club deserves the support sup-port of every fan interested in boxing, as It ha virtually Introduced a new sport to this city, and a most worthy sport at that. : . |
