Show SEEKS TO SECURE BROTHER'S ESTATE Jans D. Abbott today filed a petition In the probate division of the District court asking that letters of administration administra-tion to the estate of Maroni R. Williams, Wil-liams, who died in San Francisco, Cal., in October. 1896, be Issued to her. The petition sets out that the deceased de-ceased left no wife, father or mother, or issue living and that the petitioner is a sister. She alleges that on October 10, 1899, ' letters of administration were is- ! sued to Kate Guthiel of Parson. Utah, and that she Is now acting as administrator, adminis-trator, though she is insolvent and a married woman, and is only under a bond of J200 to guarantee the faithful performance of her duty. ' The petitioner further alleges that the petition Issued was not verified and that the recipient wrongfully alleged that she was the sole heir of the deceased, while ' Claudia St. George, his sister, was still ' living, but has died, leaving Thomas St. George, who now resides in California. , The property of the estate is a Judg- i ment against J. T. Gilmer, Munroe Sal- 1 lsbury and O. J. Salisbury amounting ' to $11.000. j |
