Show ROSE IS PLACED IN "MURDERERS' ROW" . - Frank P. Rose, who has been con-, con-, demned to die on April find for the murder mur-der of his wife on Christmas day. Is now In a death cell in the penitentiary. Rose's number is 1625. and he is confined con-fined in the south ceilhouse, in cell No. 154. on ' the second gallery of the north . . tier of cells, located on "murderers' row." This cell is the second to the east of that one occupied by Charles Botha, known as "Dutch Charlie." Jtose is carefully watched to prevent any possible attempt at suicide, though the death watch will not be placed on him until two weeks prior to the date set for the execution. He is now denied all visitors, unless he wishes to see them. Rose expressed himself him-self as being glad to go to the penitentiary, peniten-tiary, and says that he has nothing to worry him, as he knows that his death is now only the matter of a few days of waiting. |
