New York braced up. selling 3200 shares at 28 cents' and above, and Lower Mammoth again climbed up to 65 cents, with sales amounting to over 3000 shares. Sacramento responded to a bid of 274 cents with 600 shares. Consolidated Mercur held around $1.37. and Ben Butler got 9 cents for 1000. Little Bell was rather erratic, selling down from $3 to $2,714. The Daly-Judge mill was not closed down today, the stories In several local papers notwithstanding. General Manager Daly of the Daly-Judge company stated this morning that no date has been set on which the mill will be stopped, but that It will depend entirely upon' the progress made on the Improvements. In the meantime the mill la running at Its full capacity and as soon as the additions! addi-tions! jigs and tanks are Installed that capacity will be It.creased to 400 tons dally. MINING NOTES. L. A. Jeffs, manager of the Wolverine, Wolver-ine, is down from Park City. Operations have been suspended at the Keystone pending an improvement In the roads. The ore and -bullion settlements for the month of April amounted to $1,649.-221, $1,649.-221, as against $2,048,840 for March. Yesterday's Yes-terday's settlements reach $62,700. The Conklin Sampling company received re-ceived six cars of ore from Tintic today. to-day. President R. G. Wilson of the New York mine left for Park City this morning morn-ing to inspect the new developments made In that property. James W. WILD BILL DEAL IS NOW CONSUMMATED The deal whereby a party of Column bus, O., capitalists secure the controlling control-ling Interest In the Wild Bill Mining company has been formally consummated, consum-mated, and the mine Is now being worked under the new management. The buyers have not released for publication publi-cation the amount paid for the property, proper-ty, but It Is understood that the original figure went through. The Initial shipment to be made by Manager Taylor will consist of five cars of high-grade ore and will reach the local lo-cal market early next week. All of the company's low-grade ore. It Is said, will be treated by the Majestic smelter, and for the present the new owners of the Wild Bill will not erect a mill, as was first intended. SHIPMENTS FROM TINTIC. Farnsworth of the Horn Silver, who has Just returned from the East, stated this morning that he has found a market for the Horn Silver's tine' ores in Antwerp, Belgium. The Initial shipment ship-ment of 200 tons Is now being made. The Horn Silver company has close to 300,000 tons of sine ore, carrying about 12 ounces In silver and 35 to 45 per cent zinc already blocked out, and with a steady market the output will be materially ma-terially Increased. BACK FROM THE MAJESTIC. The parly of Eastern officers and shareholders share-holders of the Majestic Mining company returned from their inspection trip to that property this morning, highly pleased with the .general appearance of the mine.
