Mr. Reed was very weak and November ISth was seized with a hemorrhage. Dr. II. D. Nlles was c ailed to attend him, but found him so low that nothing could be done to save bis life. 'When I arrived at the hotel, about 7 o'clock In the evening. Mr. Reed was so far gone that I saw at a glanct he could not be saved. He waa suffering suffer-ing with tuberculosis and died thirty minutes after I arrived. I made out the death certificate to that effect," said Dr. NUes. "He was badly wasted, on lung being entirely gone and the other much affected. I found no trace of any drugs of any kind."
